BankWork$ Academy is a career-connected, hands-on course designed to help high school students explore careers in banking and financial services while building real-world, transferable skills.

Through interactive activities and real-life banking scenarios, students gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of financial institutions including customer service, account management, cash handling, and an introduction to common financial products. The curriculum mirrors entry-level banking roles and emphasizes practical application over theory.

In addition to industry exploration, students develop essential employability skills aligned with CTE priorities including communication, teamwork, professionalism, and problem-solving. Career readiness is embedded throughout the course as students build resumes, practice interview skills, and strengthen their personal financial literacy.

By the end of the course, students have a clearer understanding of career pathways in banking, finance, and customer service, along with skills that prepare them for internships, part-time employment, or continued education in business and finance-related fields.
