BankWork$ Fundamentals is an eight-week career training program for individuals from under-resourced communities who do not have access to an in-person BankWork$ class. This program builds meaningful careers in banking, through job application assistance, and ongoing coaching.

A comprehensive and convenient virtual training program over eight weeks.
The BankWork$ Fundamentals training is taught three days a week over eight weeks. Classes are held virtually, affording graduates who reside outside of BankWork$ cities the opportunity to participate in an online class. Taught by an instructor in real time, BankWork$ Fundamentals provides participants with a classroom experience virtually, and the skills they need to have basic banking knowledge and stand out in an interview.
Participants train for success in the financial services industry and beyond.
Participants learn the industry-specific skills of banking, including bank product and services, bank regulations, cash-handling, and the communication and people skills that will serve them in any professional setting, including relationship building and problem solving. They are also guided to identify and apply transferable customer-facing skills from past employment to future careers ensuring a successful interview process.
Every graduate receives personalized job search assistance and ongoing support.
After graduation, each graduate is assisted with locating and applying for open entry-level positions with financial institutions in their immediate local area. Graduates are prepared to apply for jobs with a well written LinkedIn profile, resume, and cover letter. Graduates are encouraged to apply to opportunities with partner banks and helped to identify suitable open financial services positions with other local banks in their area.
